For several months I have been encouraged by friends of Crosslink to begin blogging. I must admit that I find it hard to believe that anyone would really care to read what I might write. BUT, considering the captive situation we all find ourselves facing as a result of the Covid-19 virus, I thought it would be a good time to start. I will not be the only contributor, but I am the first. I truly hope that this blog will be an ongoing update site for our ministry so that you will be better informed as to how and what we as a ministry group are doing.
One of the exciting things for us is to be called upon by domestic charity clinics to assist them in their need for PPE supplies. We have been just about cleaned out, but as new supplies become available we are glad to share them.
Recently we received a matching grant opportunity which is huge during this time of cutbacks. AJ Kamer, Associate Director, shares about this and other happenings below:
Finally, we want to thank ALL of you for your support during this international healthcare crises. We encourage each of you to pray for a swift end to the present environment. We ask you to pray for our health care workers and system as all try to bring an end to this virus. And we pray especially for those who have been infected by the “bug!” May God use us all as part of the answer for this overwhelming situation.
